Kihnu community center is located in the center of the island, near the church, elementary school house and  museum. The community center offers various opportunities for cultural and hobby activities. During the winter period, various sports activities are held in the sports hall. The library, Youth room KINU, and the municipal government are also located in the same building. In this way, the community center is a kind of cultural center of the island.

 

The house is open to visitors all year round - we welcome both excursion groups and individual tourists to get to know the house and take part in the cultural events here. The calendar of cultural events can be viewed from our main page HERE. We also offer the opportunity for visitors to organize their own parties, camps, seminars, and other activities in the community center. We have rooms of different sizes - a large hall, a lobby, and a conference room. It is also possible to stay overnight if needed. You can find the price list for the use of the community center's premises and services below.

 

There is a tennis court on the field of our old community centre grounds, which can be rented for a game, however we do not provide tennis rackets or balls.

Various exhibitions have been organized in the public house - from paintings to tapestries and kihnu crafts. We are always waiting for new exhibition offers from various people.

Various speakers are also welcome to complement the cultural programs in our center.
